‘let it go’ is about elsa breaking away from the identity people forced upon her, ‘show yourself’ is elsa finally discovering her own identity and fully accepting herself. ‘into the unknown’ is a good inciting incident, i want song but it is NOT ‘let it go’s counterpart and this is the hill i’ll die on
You’re right!!!! “Show yourself” is Elsa truly coming into her own. Instead of running away from others due to guilt and fear, she finally is able to accept her power and unique strengths. The song is truly beautiful and everything I think people thought Let it Go was supposed to be.

The young 16 year old fujoshi in me is screaming inside. I knew I would love the manga and when it was announced that an anime would be airing, I was very excited to finally dive into this new world. Nevertheless, I’ve been swamped with school, graduation, work etc and, to be completely honest, completely disillusioned with anime as of late (I couldn’t even finish the logh remake…). Call me jaded, but after watching over 100 titles, a good chunk of those works being absolute classics, most anime comes across as contrived these days… to say the least. I think enough time has finally passed for me to enjoy this series though! So cheers to graduation and actually having down time to watch some bl boys do bl things! I’m in love with the dynamic between Ash and Riki already so I hope the show does not disappoint!
